Official Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. MAKING A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

1. Agreement

Please read these official rules (the “Official Rules”) carefully. They contain important information about your rights and obligations, as well as limitations and exclusions that may apply to you if you enter the VIAVI Solutions 2025 Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) sponsored by VIAVI Solutions Inc. (the “Sponsor”). By participating in the Sweepstakes, you signify your agreement to these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor and RAVEN5 Ltd. (the “Administrator”). If you do not agree to the Official Rules, you may not enter the Sweepstakes.

2. Eligibility

The Sweepstakes is open only to CFR 145 repair stations, aviation Fixed Base Operators (FBO), Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) stations, fixed wing/rotary airframe manufacturers, avionics equipment manufacturers (OEM), and Aircraft Maintenance Technician Schools (AMTS) operating in the United States (each, an “Eligible Company” and collectively, “Eligible Companies”).

To enter the sweepstakes, you must be an authorized employee of an Eligible Company, a legal resident of the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia, and at least eighteen (18) years of age or older (“participant”, “entrant”, or “you”). By submitting an entry, each entrant represents that he/she has obtained all necessary permissions to enter the Contest on behalf of the Eligible Company.

Employees, officers, directors, agents, or representatives, of the Sponsor, Administrator, their respective parent companies and their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, suppliers of prizes, advertising and promotion agencies involved in the administration, development, fulfillment, and execution of this Sweepstakes (collectively, the “Sweepstakes Parties”), and the immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings and children) of, and/or those living in the same household of each, are not eligible to enter.

The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, territorial, municipal and local laws and regulations. If it is found that a person who does not meet the eligibility criteria set forth in these rules has submitted an entry, that entry may be deemed ineligible. Sponsor reserves the right to verify eligibility requirements. Void outside the fifty (50) United States of America and the District of Columbia and where prohibited by law.

3.  Sweepstakes Period

The Sweepstakes begins at 12:00:01 AM Eastern Time (“ET”) on March 17, 2025 and ends at 11:59:59 PM ET on September 15, 2025 (the “Sweepstakes Period”). Administrator’s database clock will be the official timekeeper for this Sweepstakes.

4. How to Enter

To enter the Sweepstakes, visit WinAnAVX10K.com (the “Sweepstakes Website”) during the Sweepstakes Period and follow the instructions to complete the online entry form. Entrants will be required to provide their first and last name, business email address, business phone number, the name and address (including State and Zip Code) of the Eligible Company they are employed at, and the Eligible Company’s CFR 145 certification number.

In addition to providing the above information, check the box to confirm your agreement to these Official Rules and the Sponsor’s Privacy Policy (https://www.viavisolutions.com/en-us/corporate/legal/privacy-policy). Optionally, entrants may check the box to opt-in to receive marketing communications from the Sponsor. Upon successfully submitting the online entry form, an entrant will earn one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes (a “Registration Entry”). Limit of one (1) Registration Entry per person into the Sweepstakes.

By entering the Sweepstakes, you signify your agreement to these Official Rules and the Sponsor’s Privacy Policy. Sweepstakes Parties are not responsible for lost, late, stolen, incomplete, inaccurate, invalid, un-intelligible, garbled, delayed or misdirected entries, all of which will be void. Entries which are incomplete, illegible, or fraudulent are null and void.

Bonus Entries: There are two (2) ways to earn bonus entries into the Sweepstakes:

1. Survey Bonus Entries: After submitting a Registration Entry, entrants may earn up to three (3) bonus entries by answering a three (3) question survey. Each survey question answered will earn the entrant one (1) bonus entry into the Sweepstakes. Limit of three (3) Survey Bonus Entries into the Sweepstakes per person.

• Share Bonus Entries: After submitting a Registration Entry, entrants may earn up to three (3) bonus entries by sharing the sweepstakes on LinkedIn or by email from the Sweepstakes Website. Entrants will earn one (1) bonus entry for sharing the Sweepstakes on LinkedIn, and one (1) bonus entry for each email share, up to two (2) total entries for sharing by email. Limit of three (3) Share Bonus Entries into the Sweepstakes per person.

There is a total limit of seven (7) entries per person into the Sweepstakes, inclusive of a Registration Entry, Survey Bonus Entries, and Share Bonus Entries.

5. Prizes/Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”)/Odds

Grand Prize: One (1) grand prize is available to be won, consisting of a VIAVI AVX-10K Flight Line Test Set (valued at $23,459 USD) to be awarded to the Eligible Company associated with the winning entry, and a $250.00 USD gift card to be awarded to the entrant associated with the winning entry (the “Grand Prize”). The ARV of the Grand Prize is $23,709.00 USD.

Second Prize: One (1) second prize is available to be won, consisting of UC-584 Dual Antenna Coupler Kit to be awarded to the Eligible Company associated with the winning entry (the “Second Prize”). The ARV of the Second Prize is $4,900.00 USD.

Third Prize: One (1) third prize is available to be won, consisting of UC-584 Single Antenna Coupler Kit to be awarded to the Eligible Company associated with the winning entry (the “Third Prize”). The ARV of the Third Prize is $2,500.00 USD.

The total ARV of all prizes is $31,109.00 USD.

The odds of winning a prize will depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period.

Prize Conditions:

All prizes, except for the $250 gift card portion of the Grand Prize, will be awarded to the Eligible Companies associated with the winning entries; the $250 gift card portion of the Grand Prize will be awarded to the entrant associated with the Grand Prize-winning entry.

In accepting a prize, the Eligible Companies (and, for the Grand Prize, the eligible entrant) associated with the winning entries are responsible for all federal, state, county, local and all other taxes (including income and withholding, where applicable) on the prizes awarded and any costs and expenses not specifically listed above as part of a prize. Winners must be able to accept the prizes as presented, otherwise the prize will be forfeited in its entirety and awarded to an alternate winner (to be determined in a separate random drawing in accordance with these Official Rules).

No substitution of a prize will be allowed, except Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute prize(s) of comparable value if a listed prize is unavailable, in whole or in part, for any reason. Prizes are non-transferable. Each prize ARV represents Sponsor’s good faith determination, is final and binding and cannot be challenged or appealed. 

6. Winner Selection & Notification

Administrator will select all potential winners in random drawings conducted at Administrator’s offices. One (1) potential Grand Prize winner, one (1) potential Second Prize winner, and one (1) potential Third Prize winner will be selected in random drawings from among all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period on or about September 17, 2025. Administrator will notify the entrants who submitted the potential winning entries on or about September 22, 2025 (the “Winner Notification Date”). Administrator will make a minimum of two (2) attempts to contact each potential winner within forty-eight (48) hours of the Winner Notification Date.

Each Eligible Company (and, for the Grand Prize, the eligible entrant) selected for a prize in this Sweepstakes will be required to complete an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release (the “Release”) within five (5) business days of notification as a condition of acceptance of a prize. In addition, the Eligible Companies selected for a prize will be required to complete and return an IRS W-9 form (a “W-9”) as a condition of acceptance of a prize. Sponsor will only use information from the W-9 form to fulfill its tax obligations in connection with this Sweepstakes and for no other purpose. Eligible Companies that receive a prize in this Sweepstakes will be issued an IRS 1099-Misc form for the fair market value of the prize.

If any potential winner: (a) cannot be contacted within three (3) business days of initial notification, after two (2) attempts, including if there is a return of any notification as undeliverable, (b) fails to respond and/or to provide any of the requested documentation within the required time period, (c) is otherwise in non-compliance with these Official Rules, (d) declines to or cannot accept the prize to be awarded, or (e) fails to satisfactorily meet the eligibility requirements as determined in Sponsor’s sole discretion, then he/she may, in the sole and absolute discretion of the Sponsor, be disqualified (and, if disqualified, the entrant and the associated Eligible Company will forfeit any and all rights to the applicable prize) and the Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to randomly select an alternate entry for the applicable prize in a separate random drawing from the remaining eligible entries submitted and received in accordance with these Official Rules.

No one is a winner unless and until they are officially confirmed by the Sponsor in accordance with these Official Rules.

Prize Delivery: Prizes will be awarded within approximately sixty (60) days after the winners have been verified.

7. Publicity

Except where legally prohibited, participation in the Sweepstakes and acceptance of a prize constitutes entrant’s and Eligible Company’s consent to the Sponsor’s use of names, likenesses, photographs, videos, voices, opinions and/or cities & states/territories, and/or for promotional purposes in any media now known or hereafter devised, worldwide, without further payment or consideration, notice, review or approval.

Sponsor reserves the right to use any and all information related to the Sweepstakes for promotional, marketing and any other purpose, including online announcements unless prohibited by law.

8. Limitation of Liability

By participating in the Sweepstakes and as a condition of acceptance of a prize, each entrant his/her heirs, executors, administrators and assigns, and each Eligible Company  releases, waives, discharges, and holds harmless the Sponsor, Administrator, their respective parent companies, and their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, suppliers of prizes, advertising and promotion agencies involved in the administration, development, fulfillment and execution of this Sweepstakes, (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from, and against any and all loses, damages, rights, claims, actions, causes of action, personal injury, property damage or death (including without limitation any and all costs and liabilities of any kind including but not limited to lawyer’s fees), and including, without limitation, any such arising from any act of negligence of the Releases Parties, that the entrant or Eligible Company now has, or may hereafter have against the Released Parties directly or indirectly resulting from participation of the Sweepstakes or the awarding, acceptance, use, or misuse of a prize. Winning entrants and Eligible Companies assume all liability for any injury or damage caused or claimed to be caused by participation in this Sweepstakes or use/misuse or redemption of a prize.

FOR RESIDENTS OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA: You acknowledge and agree that your release and waiver extends to the following, the protections of which you explicitly waive:

California Civil Code Section 1542: A general release does not extend to claims which the creditor does not know or suspect to exist in his or her favor at the time of executing the release, which if known by him or her must have materially affected his or her settlement with the debtor.

9. General

Sponsor is not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of the Sweepstakes or in the announcement of the prize. The Released Parties are not responsible for: (i) lost, late, misdirected or damaged entries; or (ii) error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or for technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware or software malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate transmission of or failure to receive entry information by Sponsor on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website or any combination thereof; or (iii) any injury or damage to Participant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participating in the Sweepstakes.

By participating in the Sweepstakes, you (i) agree to be bound by these Official Rules, including all eligibility requirements, and (ii) agree to be bound by the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Sweepstakes.

Failure to comply with these Official Rules will result in disqualification from the Sweepstakes. Sponsor reserves the right to permanently disqualify from any Sweepstakes it sponsors any person or any Eligible Company it believes has intentionally violated these Official Rules. If for any reason this Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned due to any causes beyond the control of the Sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, the Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes, at which time, Sponsor will conduct random drawings from among all eligible entries received at the time of the Sweepstakes termination.

10. Disputes

Except where prohibited, Participants agree that any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of, or connected with, the Sweepstakes or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court located in the State of Arizona U.S.A., and all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, entrant’s rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of the Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Arizona, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the State of Arizona or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction. The remedy for any claim shall be limited to actual damages, and in no event shall any party be entitled to recover punitive, exemplary, consequential, or incidental damages, including attorney’s fees or other such related costs of bringing a claim, or to rescind this agreement or seek injunctive or any other equitable relief.

THE PARTIES HEREBY WAIVE THEIR RIGHT TO JURY TRIAL WITH RESPECT TO ALL CLAIMS AND ISSUES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THIS AGREEMENT WHETHER SOUNDING IN CONTRACT OR TORT AND INCLUDING ANY CLAIM FOR FRAUDULENT INDUCEMENT THEREOF.

11. Privacy

Personal information collected from Participants is subject to the Sponsor’s Privacy Policy, available at: https://www.viavisolutions.com/en-us/corporate/legal/privacy-policy.

In addition, any personal information that you provide may be used in connection with the Sweepstakes as necessary, to administer, manage and operate the Sweepstakes (including coordinating and fulfilling prizes and releasing a list of winners, as discussed below) and otherwise as permitted in our privacy policy referred to above.

Personal information collected will be stored on servers located in the United States and may be accessible to U.S. law enforcement, courts and other governmental institutions pursuant to the laws of the United States. 

12. Winners List Requests

For a written confirmation of the Winners (available after September 25, 2025), send an email to [email protected] with subject line: VIAVI Solutions 2025 Sweepstakes Winners List Request. All requests must be received by November 30, 2025 at 2:59:59 PM ET. Requests received after this time will not be fulfilled.
